Upon arrival, you'll be captivated by the charming facade of our secluded retreat. Step inside, and you'll be greeted by a spacious and tastefully decorated living area, complete with comfy seating and three patio doors that invite the natural light to flood in, illuminating the space with warmth. Whether you're lounging with a book in front of the log burner, watching your favourite shows on the smart TV, or simply enjoying the company of friends and family, this living area is designed to offer relaxation and comfort.
Upstairs, our retreat boasts four thoughtfully designed bedrooms, each offering its own unique charm. The two master suites feature king-size beds and private ensuite bathrooms, providing you with a sanctuary to retreat to after a day of exploration; each with a balcony to enjoy the night air. The other two bedrooms are equally inviting, furnished with cosy beds and soft linens, ensuring a restful night's sleep for everyone.
Although the property is self catering, you have a fully equipped kitchen to allow you to cook or bake as and when you wish; the local supermarkets also deliver to this property, so you don't have the hassle of bringing food with you - order online beforehand to a date and time that suits you
Step outside onto the deck to enjoy the outdoor haven which provides the perfect spot for alfresco dining, sipping your morning coffee with the sunrise, or relaxing with a glass of wine as you watch the sunset paint the sky in breathtaking hues.
The property next door is currently having some minor refurbishment which is nearing completion. The trades tend to work 8am until 4pm Monday to Friday, so whilst not ideal we hope this should not disrupt our guests.
A short walk away you and your party will be able to enjoy two 20M indoor and outdoor heated pools, sauna, steam room, an eco outdoor naturally filtered pool, yoga, or the gym located at the onsite Spa - all facilities (aside from spa treatments) are included in your stay.
Don't forget to bring your swimming towels for the various water based activities you can discover! Onsite you'll find the Activity Hub for hiring equipment for canoeing, kayaking, paddle boarding, rowing boats, Katakanu, mountain bike or cycling. Due to safety restrictions about water temperature, water sports equipment is not available for use between November and April.
For our younger guests a playpark and outdoor games await, while proud parents can relax with a coffee or something stronger in the nearby Balihoo restaurant. Tennis courts and an astro-turf multi-sports area will keep the whole family amused - these are freely available on a first come first served basis.
Your pet is also welcome - if you have more than one pet that you want to bring, please get in touch with more information before booking. Lower Mill Estate is surrounded by many nature trails and walks, with plenty of wildlife to discover and enjoy. We enjoy bringing our own miniature dachshund to Pike House, however the garden is not enclosed, so you'll need to keep an eye on your furry family member/s also for difficult to see nesting birds in reeds.

Please note that our prices will vary depending on season and demand. We also use a variable minimum stay policy which will decrease for shorter notice bookings.
Cancellation Policy
We appreciate that plans can change and offer you the following options for your peace of mind (cancellations must be notified to us by emailing us at Hello@YourHomeHere.uk):
No refunds will be offered for any bookings made less than 14 days before the check-in date.
We will take a security deposit of £250 by placing a "Pre-Authorisation" or "Hold" on the card used for the booking 2 days before the booking and which will be released 3 days after the checkout day. We reserve the right to charge the card up to this deposit amount for any significant damages or for additional costs incurred (eg additional guests or additional cleaning charges etc).
The Lower Mill Village is a private gated community. Stag and hen parties are not permitted. Owners and guests are provided with security codes to access the site. In addition to the onsite amenities, other local activities and attractions are available depending on the time of year.
